A limited number of scholarships (covering most Summerschool costs) as well as travel grants are available from the DAAD (German Academic Exchange Service).

Course fees include:

• 5 week enrollment at Darmstadt University (this covers free use of public transportation in and around Darmstadt, free use of university sports and leisure facilities, lower prices at the university cafeteria and several other benefits)
• 5 weeks of German language courses (approx. 16 hours per week)
• 5 weeks of Cultural Studies (approx. one day-trip and one smaller excursions per week and one seminar)

Accommodation costs cover:

• 5-week accommodation in German host families
• Please note that accommodation does not include meals. (Participants not requiring accommodation provided by the Summerschool program should contact summerschool@spz.tu-… us for special arrangements)

TOTAL SUM for the 5-week Summerschool program: € 1400

An optional internship in engineering costs € 300 and covers:

• 2-week extension of enrollment at Darmstadt University
• 2 weeks of practical training in engineering
• 2-week accommodation extension
