12th Summerschool: June 7 – July 9, 2010

During Summer Semester 2010, from June 7 – July 9, the Technische Universität Darmstadt will offer currently enrolled American and Canadian students a 5-week Summerschool exchange program consisting of German language courses and Cultural Studies (including seminars, excursions and visits to major industrial companies as well as daytrips). Students also have the opportunity to extend their stay for a 2-week unpaid internship (July 10 – July 23, 2010) in research facilities at Darmstadt University and associated institutions.

In order to maintain the high academic standard of our program, we have decided to limit the number of participants to 40. The Technische Universität values the academic cooperation with its partner institutions and will therefore be giving special priority to applicants from our partner universities. Please note that we will only accept applications from undergraduate students (i.e. no graduating seniors). All students wishing to attend the program must be at least 18 years of age upon beginning of the program.
