In addition to the 5-week Summerschool program, Technische Universität Darmstadt offers students the opportunity to extend their stay for a 2-week unpaid internship (July 11 – July 22, 2011) in research facilities at Technische Universität Darmstadt and associated area institutions.

The internship costs an additional € 300 (altogether € 1700), which covers two further weeks of accommodation and enrollment at Technische Universität Darmstadt.

Due to the 2-week time constraint, the internship portion of the Darmstadt Summerschool is not designed to give you in-depth training in independent work. It is designed, however, to give you some insight from a German point of view into your field of study. You will also have the opportunity to make contacts with the German academic and/or professional community.

Please note that internships are subject to availability and will be distributed on a first-come, first- serve basis. The additional € 300 is to be paid by March, 2011.
