The Latin courses are mainly aimed at students who must prove their knowledge of Latin as part of their history studies. However, the courses are also open to students from other faculties as well as members of the TU.

The aim of the courses is to provide knowledge of Latin morphology and syntax through predominantly adapted texts and to give insights into the history Latin language as well as culture and literature of Roman antiquity.
After completing the courses, you have reached a level that comes close to the qualification on Latin. With appropriate additional preparation (for example, an additional one-semester reading course), the qualification in Latin can be taken externally. (Government Office)
