The Goethe-Institut is the Federal Republic of Germany’s cultural institute, active worldwide. We set internationally recognised standards in the teaching and learning of German as a foreign language, run language courses, compile teaching materials, train teachers, contribute to scientific research and participate in politicolanguage initiatives.
