Welcome to the Centre for Digital Language Learning at the Language Resource Centre (ZediS)!
ZediS was founded in the fall of 2022 as one of the first Centres for digital language learning in the German-speaking world. It is a contact hub for students, teachers, prospective teachers, and persons interested in learning more about digital language learning.
It is our aim is to consolidate and further develop the knowledge of digital language teaching acquired during several semesters of digital instruction and further integrate it into classroom teaching. As a result of the pandemic, learning and teaching have evolved, especially in the language classroom, and many new tools are enriching the classroom experience. The competencies gained during the online phase by learners and language instructors alike should be further promoted. Our goal is to continue to offer sustainably effective and high-quality digital language instruction at the Language Resource Centre in the future.
