In this workshop, we explore how AI tools such as ChatGPT, Gemini, and Claude can be used to develop task-based listening comprehension tasks tailored to our target groups. We will go through the creation process step by step: from prompt development for audio transcripts and tasks to text-to-speech tools and important Audacity functions for audio editing. At the same time, we will reflect on what constitutes task-based listening comprehension tasks and how they differ from traditional exercises.
