Academic texts present students with special linguistic challenges. In this workshop, we analyze academic texts from various disciplines using AI tools and develop strategies for teaching their linguistic features in the classroom. We will practice digital analysis techniques that make the language patterns of academic texts visible and teachable and develop technology-supported activities that actively engage students with academic language.
