Prof. Dr. Britta Hufeisen
I am a Professor of Linguistics with a focus on multilingualism and Director of the Language Resource Centre at the Technical University of Darmstadt.
My languages: Low German, English, French, (Latin), Swedish, Scandinavian languages (receptive) – with a particular interest in Icelandic
I am interested in: multilingual learning, and when I am not working for the university, which I love to do, I also like swimming, singing, reading and gardening.
Dr. Chris Merkelbach
I am CEO of the Language Resource Centre at the Technical University of Darmstadt and head the Centre for Intercultural Competency. In my free time, I manage the University Choir and Orchestra and enjoy doing sports.

I am interested in: language teacher education, foreign language research (teaching and learning), intercultural communication as well as music.
Karen Fleischhauer M.A.
I teach German as a Foreign Language and English at the Language Resource Centre at Technical University of Darmstadt.
My languages: English, German, Dutch as a heritage language
I am interested in: technical languages, e-learning, CLIL, and in my free time I enjoy cycling and doing volunteer work in a sports club.
Katrin Koeppl M.A.
I am a staff member at the Language Resource Centre (SPZ) of TU Darmstadt in the area of administration and intercultural teaching and a research associate in the Linguistics – Multilingualism research group.
My languages: German, French, English and Russian
I am interested in: Intercultural communication in schools and university administration as well as the specifics of intercultural cooperation. I am also an avid reader, enjoy outdoor sports, spending time with my family and dog and tending our vegetable garden.
Stefanie Nölle-Becker M.A.
I am deputy CEO of the Language Resource Centre at the Technical University of Darmstadt and an associate researcher at the department of multilingualism of the Institute of Linguistics and Literary Studies. I enjoy spending time outdoors as well as visiting exhibitions or watching independent movies.

I am interested in: language learning in the context of multilingualism, visibility of languages and multilingual language usage in the linguistic landscape as well in eduscapes, language prestige and language policy.
Dipl.-Übers. Barbara Stolarczyk
I am a lecturer for Polish and German as a foreign language and head the Heritage Languages Centre. In my free time, I enjoy playing volleyball in my women’s team and hiking, preferably in the beautiful Palatinate Forest.

I am interested in: Heritage languages at universities, linguistic mediation and open forms of teaching/learning, especially in project work.
Sandra Sulzer M.A.
I am a German as a Foreign Language instructor at the Language Resource Centre at the Technical University of Darmstadt and a Ph.D. student with Professor Dr. Hufeisen. In my free time, I enjoy working in my garden, doing arts and crafts, sewing, or reading.
My languages: German, Italian, English and the South Tyrolean dialect
I am interested in: e-learning, writing in foreign language instruction, literacy, multilingualism, and volunteer language work.
